Traditional Vinegar Barbecue Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 2 cups | 474ml | Cider vinegar |
| 2/3 cup | 157ml | Ketchup |
| 1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tabasco sauce |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Red pepper flakes |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dry mustard |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
Mix all ingredients together and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.
This recipe yields 3 cups.
