Crab Bake Recipe - Cooking Index
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter |
9 | Eggs | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Milk |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
6 oz | 170g | Crab meat - fresh or canned |
1 | Cream cheese - (8 oz) - cut 1/2" cubes | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dill - fresh or dried |
Melt the butter in a 12- by 8-inch glass baking dish. In a bowl, beat the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir in the crab meat and cream cheese. Pour over the melted butter and sprinkle dill over the top.
Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes, then lower the heat to 300 degrees and bake for 10 minutes or until firm in the center.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
