One-Step Christmas Crab Quiche Recipe - Cooking Index
| Pillsbury refrigerated fluted pie crust | ||
| 1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Finely-chopped Vidalia onion |
| 1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Finely-diced red bell pepper |
| 1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Chopped blanched drained fresh Swiss chard |
| (or use frozen chopped spinach) | ||
| 1 cup | 237ml | Whole milk or half-and-half |
| 3 | Eggs | |
| 1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Diced Swiss cheese |
| 1 | Cream cheese - (8 oz) - softened, and | |
| Cut into 1/2" squares | ||
| 1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Fresh crab meat |
Line pie plate (preferably The Inn at Christmas Farm's signature Deep Dish Christmas Farm Pie Plate) with pie crust.
In a large bowl, whisk thoroughly 3 eggs. Add and mix together all other items listed above, except crab meat. Lastly, stir in gently the crab meat and pour into Christmas Farm Pie Dish.
Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove; dust with Old Bay seasoning and serve at table in 5 minutes.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
