Spicy Dill Dip Recipe - Cooking Index
This works equally well with raw vegetables or chips -- or as a sauce for cold poached salmon or shrimp.
Courses: Dips and Spreads| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Sour cream |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Mayonnaise |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Minced fresh dill |
| = (or 2 tspns dried dillweed) | ||
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced fresh parsley |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced green onion |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chili sauce |
| 1 | Garlic clove - minced | |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dry mustard |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Combine all ingredients in bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until well chilled.
This recipe yields about 1 cup.
