15-Minute Chili

Recipe Ingredients

1 lb 454g / 16ozGround turkey
1 can  Kidney or pinto beans - (15 oz) - drained, rinsed
1   Low-fat low-sodium chicken broth
1 can  Diced tomatoes - (14 1/2 oz) - undrained (flavored with chilies, preferably)
1   Tomato paste - (6 oz)
1 tablespoon 15mlChili powder
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlCinnamon
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlCumin
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlFreshly-ground black pepper

Recipe Instructions

In a large nonstick saucepan, brown the ground turkey until it is no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.

Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
