Bear Shish-Kabob Recipe - Cooking Index
| Bear meat - cut 1" cubes | ||
| Marinade | ||
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Soy sauce |
| 1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar - (firmly packed) |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Cooking oil |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Garlic powder |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - finely chopped (large) |
| 1 | Beer - (12 oz) | |
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Mix all ingredients. Refrigerate, allowing the cubes of bear meat to marinate overnight.
Place the meat on skewers, and grill over hot coals until well-done.
