| 3 | Garlic - finely minced | |
| 1 | Anchovy - mashed | |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Capers |
| 1/3 cup | 48g / 1.7oz | Finely chopped parsley |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Oregano |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Black pepper |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Olive oil |
| The Sandwich | ||
| 1 | Loaf Italian bread (large) | |
| 1/3 lb | 151g / 5.3oz | Hard salami - very thinly |
| 1/3 lb | 151g / 5.3oz | Ham - very thinly sliced |
| 1/3 lb | 151g / 5.3oz | Provolone - thinly sliced |
OLIVE SALAD: Mix together all ingredients and let marinate for AT LEAST 12 hours. THE SANDWICH: Slice loaf in half horizontally and slightly scoop out insides. Layer on salami, ham and Provolone.
Spread on olive spread at least 3/4-inch thick. Replace top half of loaf and eat.
