Ranch Dressing Recipe - Cooking Index
1/3 cup | 78ml | Plain nonfat yogurt |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Mayonnaise |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Buttermilk |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Finely-grated onion |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic clove - pressed (small) |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Snipped fresh chives |
Whisk the yogurt, mayonnaise and buttermilk together. Stir in the onion and garlic. Season with salt and a generous grinding of pepper, then fold in the chives. Refrigerate, covered, until ready to use (up to 8 hours).
This recipe yields 1 1/4 cups.
Per 2 tablespoons: 63 calories, 1g carbohydrates, 1g protein, 6g fat, 4mg cholesterol.
