Sauteed Alaska Pollock Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Flour |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic salt |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
| 1 | Egg | |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Pollock fillets - thawed if necessary |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Oil |
| Lemon wedges |
Combine flour, garlic salt and pepper. Beat together egg and water. Dip pollock in seasoned flour, then egg, then again in seasoned flour.
Saute in oil over medium heat about 5 minutes or until lightly browned on both sides and fillet flakes easily when tested with a fork. Serve with lemon wedges
