Clams Oreganata Recipe - Cooking Index
| 12 | Littleneck or cherrystone clams - on the half shell | |
| Fine plain bread crumbs - as needed | ||
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried oregano | 
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried parsley | 
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried basil | 
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Grated Parmesan cheese | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil | 
Put 12 opened clams on the half shell in a baking dish. Lightly cover clams with bread crumbs. Sprinkle with basil, parsley, oregano and Parmesan cheese. Drizzle with olive oil.
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes. Serve immediately.
This recipe yields 2 to 4 servings as an appetizer.
