Monkfish Rumaki

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 lb 227g / 8ozMonkfish or shark - cut bite size
1/4 cup 59mlSoy sauce
1/4 cup 59mlDry sherry or vermouth
8   Canned water chestnuts - cut in half
9   Bacon slices - cut in half

Recipe Instructions

Mix soy sauce and sherry or vermouth. Marinate fish and water chestnuts in the mixture for about 15 minutes.

Wrap a piece of fish and half a water chestnut with a half strip of bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Broil until the bacon is crisp.

This recipe yields 16 appetizer servings.
