Melon-Orange Vinaigrette Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 cup | 237ml | Cantaloupe - cut into cubes |
| 2/3 cup | 157ml | Orange juice |
| 2/3 cup | 157ml | Cider vinegar |
| = (or white wine vinegar) | ||
| 1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Unbleached cane sugar |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground ginger |
In a blender or food processor, combine all of the ingredients, and process for 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth and creamy. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Use as a dressing for salads or fruit, or to add flavor to grains or vegetables.
This recipe yields 2 cups.
