Thai Banana Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Firm-ripe banana (large) | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Oriental sesame oil |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Golden raisins - chopped |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh cilantro - chopped |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon peel - grated |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chili powder |
1. Peel and halve lengthwise banana.
2. In a nonstick 10-12" frying pan over high heat, brown banana well in sesame oil, about 8 minutes.
3. Chop banana. Mix with raisins, cilantro, lemon peel and chili powder.
