| 1 cup | 237ml | Catsup |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Celery salt |
| 1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Hot sauce |
| 1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Ground beef |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Onion - finely chopped |
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Pepper - to taste | ||
| 6 | Hamburger buns - split, toasted and buttered |
Combine catsup, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, and hot sauce in a saucepan; bring to a boil, and set aside.
Combine beef, onion, salt, and pepper. Shape into 6 patties 1/2" thick. Place on grill 3 to 5 inches from coals; cook 3 to 5 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness. Baste occasionally with sauce.
Serve on buns with remaining sauce.
