Grilled Ham With Asian Grill Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

7 1/2 oz 213gHoisin sauce
1/4 cup 59mlSoy sauce
1/4 cup 40g / 1.4ozPacked brown sugar
2 tablespoons 30mlDark oriental sesame oil
3 tablespoons 45mlApple cider vinegar
1/3 cup 78mlFreshly squeezed orange
  - juice
1 teaspoon 5mlGround ginger
2 teaspoons 10mlDry mustard
2   Green onions - white part- only chopped
3 lbs 1362g / 48ozPrecooked ham steak - 1 1/2
  - to 2 inches
  Thick

Recipe Instructions

Combine the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, vinegar, orange juice, ginger, mustard, and green onions.

Marinate the ham in the sauce several hours at room temperature or overnight, if possible, in an airtight container in the refrigerator. (I like a plastic bag.)

Preheat the grill.

Drain the steak, saving the marinade, and grill, 2 to 3 inches from the heat, 5 to 8 minutes on each side, or until heated through and lightly scored with brown from the grill.

Meanwhile, heat the marinade until boiling.

Serve over the ham.
