| 2 cups | 474ml | Shelled raw peas - coarsely ground |
| 300 | Paneer - cubed and fried | |
| 250 | Tomato - pureed and strained | |
| 4 tablespoons | 60ml | Oil or ghee |
| Grind Together | ||
| 3 | Onions | |
| 1/2 | Garlic | |
| 1/2 | Ginger | |
| 3 | Green chillies | |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Coriander leaves |
| 12 | Cashewnuts | |
| 6 | Cardamoms | |
| 6 | Cloves | |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Coriander seeds |
| Salt - to taste |
Heat oil and fry the ground masala for about 7 minutes. Add tomato puree and fry some more. Add ground peas and keep stirring. Add 2 cups warm water and cook till peas are tender. Before serving add fried paneer cubes.
