| 8 oz | 227g | Potatoes - boiled and cooled, peeled and diced | 
| 1 | Cauliflower - cut into florets | |
| 5 tablespoons | 75ml | Vegetable oil | 
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cumin seeds | 
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground cumin | 
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground coriander | 
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground turmeric | 
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Cayenne pepper | 
| 1 | Fresh hot green chili pepper - finely chopped | |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground roasted cumin seeds | 
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt | 
| Freshly ground black pepper | 
Prepare the potatoes and cauliflower. Put oil in large frying pan and set over medium heat. Put in the cumin seeds and let sizzle for 3-4 seconds. Add cauliflower and stir for 2 minutes. Cover and let simmer 4-6 minutes. Add potatoes, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cayenne, green chili, ground roasted cumin seeds, salt and black pepper; stir. Cook for 3 more minutes and serve.
