Warm Tomato-Pepper Sauce, California Style Pasta Recipe - Cooking Index
| 2 1/2 | Red bell peppers - chopped | |
| 5 cups | 312g / 11oz | Thinly sliced green onions |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Minced garlic |
| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Olive oil |
| 8 | Tomatoes - seeded and diced | |
| 1 2/3 cups | 243g / 8.6oz | Grated parmesan cheese |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Black pepper |
| 2 1/2 teaspoons | 12ml | Cayenne pepper |
| 3 lbs | 1362g / 48oz | Cooked pasta - penne |
SautE9 peppers, onions and garlic in oil in a large skillet over medium high heat until vegetables are tender-crisp. Stir in tomatoes; cook over high heat until sauce thickens, 10-15 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients except pasta. Serve.
