| 1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Chopped onion |
| 2 | Garlic - minced | |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Orange zest |
| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Orange juice |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Wine vinegar - (balsamic is better) |
| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Bourbon whiskey |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Molasses |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Catsup |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Steak sauce |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dry mustard |
| Salt and freshly ground black pepper - to taste | ||
| Tobasco - to taste | ||
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chili powder |
| 1 | Cloves |
Mix all ingredients other than chicken well. Marinate chicken 4 hours.
Remove from marinade and grill basting with marinade frequently.
