Cucumber-Onion Salad Recipe - Cooking Index

| 2 | Cucumbers (large) | |
| Salt | ||
| Water | ||
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Tarragon vinegar |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sugar |
| Pepper - sour-cream | ||
| Dressing | ||
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Dairy sour cream |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Tarragon vinegar |
| Chives; chopped - garnish |
Peel onions and cucumbers, and cut into wafer-thin slices.
Cover with salted ice-water and let stand in refrigerator for several hours. Drain, and add 1/4 cup water, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper to taste.
After draining vegetables in recipe above, add 1/2 cup dairy sour cream and 1/2 cup tarragon vinegar.
Garnish with chopped chives.
