Taffy Apple Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Pineapple - drain and save juice | |
2 cups | 474ml | Miniature marshmallows |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Flour |
1 | Egg - well beaten | |
3/4 tablespoon | 11ml | White vinegar |
4 oz | 113g | Cool Whip Lite |
2 cups | 474ml | Apples - cubed |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Spanish peanuts - chopped |
Mix pineapple and marshmallow and set aside.
In sauce pan cook pineapple juice, flour, sugar, egg and vinegar until slightly thick.
When cool, combine with cool whip.
Fold in pineapple mixture.
Add apples and nuts.
Chill.
Sprinkle with nuts for garnish.
