Cucumber Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 cup | 237ml | Plain yogurt | 
| 1 cup | 237ml | Sour cream | 
| 1 cup | 237ml | Cucumber - peeled, seeded, and (large) cut into chunks | 
| 4 | Garlic cloves | |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dried mint - (see note) | 
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Olive oil | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Red wine vinegar - (see note) | 
| 1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Salt | 
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Onion powder | 
In a food processor or blender, combine all the ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately or place in a medium glass or plastic storage bowl, cover and chill until ready to use.
Note: This is perfect for topping sauteed seasoned chicken breast strips in a pita with shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes. No vinegar? Use lemon juice. No mint? Try dill instead. Don't be afraid to make it your own!
