Beans 'n Rice Skillet Recipe - Cooking Index
| Sauce | ||
| 1 cup | 237ml | Water |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Thick and chunky salsa |
| 2 | No-salt-added - (8 oz) | |
| Tomato sauce | ||
| 1 1/2 cups | 240g / 8.5oz | Uncooked instant white rice |
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Frozen whole kernel corn |
| 1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Chopped red bell pepper |
| 1 | Black beans - drained | |
| And rinsed |
Combine sauce ingredients in large skillet; mix well. Bring to a boil.
Stir in all remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to low.
Cover and simmer about 10 minutes or until rice is cooked and vegetables are tender.
