Pepper Steak - Old Bay Seasoning Version Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Round steak - cut in thin strips |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Sliced green pepper |
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Sliced onion |
| 1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Coarsely chopped celery |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Sliced mushrooms |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter or margarine |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Soy sauce |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Corn starch |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Water |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Baltimore spice old bay seasoning |
In skillet, brown round steak slightly in butter or margarine.
Add vegetables, salt and Baltimore Spice Old Bay Seasoning. Stir fry about 5 minutes.
Mix corn starch with water and soy sauce. Pour over vegetables.
Stir until sauce is thick and slightly transparent.
Serve over rice.
