Ribs In Pepper-Sauce (Adla'l-Bagar Ma'salsat Filfil) Recipe - Cooking Index
| 2 1/2 lbs | 1135g / 40oz | Ox-ribs |
| 1 1/4 lbs | 567g / 20oz | Red peppers |
| 2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Onions (large) |
| 5 tablespoons | 75ml | Olive-oil |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sumach |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Marjoram |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Macis (nutmeg) |
| Pepper - black | ||
| Salt | ||
| 1 | Water |
Chop the ribs in pieces of 2 inches long, wash and let dry.
Fry them slightly, add spices and water. Let cook on little heat for 1 1/2 hour.
Cut peppers and onions in slices, add to the ribs and let cook for another 1/2 hour.
To serve with rice or potatoes.
