| 2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Unbleached flour |
| 1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cornstarch |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cocoa |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Nutmeg |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cloves |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Baking soda |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
| 1 cup | 93g / 3.3oz | Almonds |
| 1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Raisins |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Oil |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
| 3 cups | 711ml | Hot applesauce |
Sift together all the dry ingredients, add nuts and raisins.
Stir in the oil, vanilla and hot applesauce. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350F for 30 to 40 minutes or until done.
