Sugar 'n' Spice Apple-Nut Cake

Recipe Ingredients

4 tablespoons	60ml	Butter
1/2 teaspoon	2.5ml	Nutmeg
1 cup	198g / 7oz	Sugar
		Salt - pinch
1		Egg
1 teaspoon	5ml	Vanilla
1 cup	62g / 2.2oz	Flour
2 cups	292g / 10oz	Apples - finely chopped
1 teaspoon	5ml	Baking soda
1/2 cup	118ml	Nuts
1 teaspoon	5ml	Cinnamon

Recipe Instructions

Cream butter and sugar; add egg; sift in dry ingredients.

Add vanilla, nuts, and apples.

Bake in 8" square pan for 35-40 minutes.

Serve with topping of whipped cream or ice cream.
