Sugar 'n' Spice Apple-Nut Cake Recipe - Cooking Index
| 4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Nutmeg |
| 1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
| Salt - pinch | ||
| 1 | Egg | |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Flour |
| 2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Apples - finely chopped |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking soda |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Nuts |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon |
Cream butter and sugar; add egg; sift in dry ingredients.
Add vanilla, nuts, and apples.
Bake in 8" square pan for 35-40 minutes.
Serve with topping of whipped cream or ice cream.
