Beef Balls

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup 160g / 5.6ozUncooked rice
  Filling
1 lb 454g / 16ozGround steak - (sirloin)
3   Green onions - finely chopped
1 teaspoon 5mlGinger root - finely chopped
2 oz 56gWater chestnuts - finely chopped
1   Egg - beaten
1 tablespoon 15mlSoy sauce
3 tablespoons 45mlShaohsing wine or sherry

Recipe Instructions

Mix the filling and form into balls about 1 inch in diameter.

Place the uncooked rice in a shallow pan or dish.

Roll the beef balls in the rice until they are covered with the rice.

Steam the beef balls for 30 minutes.

Serve with your favorite Dim Sum dipping sauce.
