Appetizer Killer Bread

Serves: 10 people

Recipe Ingredients

1   Round sour dough bread
  Butter
1 cup 237mlMayonnaise
1 tablespoon 15mlMinced onion
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozGrated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon 15mlMinced fresh parsley
1 tablespoon 15mlDried basil*
3 teaspoons 15mlCajun seasoning
1 teaspoon 5mlDried oregano*
2 tablespoons 30mlMinced garlic

Recipe Instructions

Slice the loaf in half horizontally. Butter cut sides of both halves, toast under broiler until lightly browned.

Mix the remaining ingredients and spread over both halves, using the entire mixture. Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes, until top is brown and puffed. Cut into wedges and serve hot. You can eat this like pizza as an entire meal, or along with a light meal.

Hints

If fresh basil and oregano are available it will really make a powerful difference, but use triple the amount of each when using fresh herbs.
