Recipe Ingredients

1   Flour
1/2   Lard
6   Piloncills
2 tablespoons 30mlYeast perpared for bread
5 tablespoons 75mlFlour for piloncillo
1/4   Water

Recipe Instructions

Add flour to lard In 1/4 liter of water dissolve 2 pilncillos The rest (ploncillo) break up and ground (roughy) and add the flour (the 5 T) Grease the pans

ix the lu and the lard then add the yeast and the 1/4 liter of water with the piloncillo (dissolved in it) If needed add more water.

Knead dough and make into balls about 10 grms each Make tortillas and trim them with a scalloped cutter Add a little piloncill (dry mixture to half of the tortillas in the center) Cover with second tortilla (seal edges) and cut vent holes in top (tortilla) Place on pans and bake in 350F oven until golden.
